The scope of work and design of the Positive Action implementation should be a collaborative effort involving the parties implementing the program.

Identification of representatives assigned to the project should be clear. A schedule for communication should be established and maintained.

An agreed upon timeline and schedule should be jointly determined and followed.

A project coordinator and representative coordinating committee should be created. This ensures that the implementation is properly coordinated.

Determine if self-training is sufficient or if professional training is needed. Schedule the training and inform all the affected staff.

Order program materials far enough in advance to allow enough time for staff to familiarize themselves with the Kits before the training.

Implementation for everyone should begin on the scheduled kick-off day and faithfully followed accordingly throughout the year.

Teach Positive Action lessons in the morning and reinforce the concepts throughout the day..

The committee should hold scheduled meetings to troubleshoot and plan for keeping the program fresh and effective.

Appropriate fidelity monitoring surveys should be submitted by everyone using the program on the predetermined schedule.

Process surveys should be used to provide ongoing data.

Outcome surveys, if appropriate, should be collected online or in pencil and paper format.

Data analysis, and report writing should be conducted only by qualified personnel.
